Do not take your vehicle here. When I picked my car up after a 2 week collision repair it had multiple new deep and noticeable scratches. Confirmed with the staff that they were not there at their initial inspection via review of their photos but they did not take accountability for the scratches. They took low resolution photos and used a red marker on my red car to document the condition of the car at drop off which gave them plausible deniability for any damage they caused. Even on their photos it was obvious that the new scratches were outside the areas they circled on the car. The staff were dismissive and told me “when you stub your toe everything starts to hurt” (exact words), a line I’m sure they get plenty of mileage out of.

Absolutely do not bring your vehicle here. I entrusted Gerber with my car following an accident that already required an extended two-month repair due to damages and parts delays. During that time, my car was broken into while in their possession, and several of my belongings were stolen—including a sentimental item from my late father. I trusted them to safeguard my vehicle as if it were their own, and that trust was completely disregarded. To make matters worse, the rock used to break my window was left inside the car, along with shards of glass that were never fully cleaned out. Even after finally receiving my car back, it is still not in proper working order—there is now an abnormal noise coming from one of the tires that was never present before. Instead of addressing the issue, Gerber has refused responsibility and attempted to defer me elsewhere to prove their liability. As for the stolen items, no effort has been made to remedy the situation or even acknowledge the seriousness of what was taken. I could not be happy with the work...car runs great and looks brand new. The staff was kind and professional. It was my first time using a collision shop and after speaking to them, they really helped put my mind to ease. The gave me an estimated time frame for the work and met the deadline, which I personally thought was an optimistic time table. These guys are true professionals and have done great work, I would 100% trust them again.

I went to Gerber Collision on Delaware on Monday because my left front bumper was hanging. The receptionist was very nice. She told me someone would be out to help me. When he came out, his first words were, are you going to get it done here because If not, I can't do an estimate. I stated as long as you're not extremely, extremely, extremely expensive, yes, i am going to get it done here. Then he said, "Are you going to pay out of pocket or insurance?" I stated insurance. He then stated, "Well, there's no need to to an estimate then." I said no, I would like to know how much it will cost.it went downhill from there. He went on to say he does not know if the insurance is going to pay for it because there was rust underneath, the side panels would need to be replaced, he went on and on and on. I said to him yes you can do an estimate, I know because it was the third one I had gotten, and no one else gave me a hassle." I told him his company was affiliated with my insurance, which is why I preferred his company. He said ok I'll write it up." My car is 20 years old and in very good condition except for some rust.
